Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Ansera's web and mobile applications, business phone lines, calling, messaging, AI, and automation services.

Effective: August 31, 2026

1. Agreement and business eligibility

Ansera is operated by Lumatra Technology in the United States. By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using Ansera, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the business connected to the account. Ansera is a business service and is not intended for personal, household, or children's use.

2. The service

Ansera provides business phone numbers, calling, messaging, an AI receptionist, transcripts, summaries, appointment and follow-up tools, translations, integrations, and optional voice cloning. Some features depend on third-party communications, AI, payment, hosting, and calendar providers. Features and availability may differ by market, carrier, plan, and regulatory status.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing important names, dates, prices, commitments, translations, and business decisions. Ansera must not be used for emergency calls, medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or other situations where delayed or inaccurate output could cause serious harm. Call 911 or the applicable local emergency number when immediate help is required.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account and business information, protect sign-in credentials, keep authorized-user access current, and notify support promptly about suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Ansera's breach of its obligations. You may not share credentials outside your authorized team.

4. Trial, subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • The verified trial lasts seven days and does not require payment details to begin.
  • When the trial expires, billable communications lock, while sign-in, account review, and plan purchase remain available.
  • Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. The checkout screen shows the current price, included usage, extra-line charges, and applicable taxes before purchase.
  • You may manage or cancel a paid plan from Plan & Billing. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the billing portal states otherwise.
  • Payments are generally non-refundable and unused allowances do not roll over, except where applicable law or the checkout terms require otherwise.
  • We may change future prices with advance notice. A price change applies no earlier than the next renewal described in that notice.

5. Plan limits and fair use

Starter includes 100 AI call minutes and 100 outbound SMS per month. Business includes 300 AI call minutes, 300 outbound SMS, automations, and up to 300 automation emails per month. Unlimited includes standard AI calling and SMS under fair use, plus 300 automated voice minutes, 500 automation SMS, and 500 automation emails per month. Current checkout details control if they differ from this summary.

“Unlimited” does not permit automated high-volume campaigns, resale, call-center traffic, artificial traffic, spam, fraud, or use that threatens carrier reputation or service availability. We may slow, pause, investigate, or require a different arrangement for abnormal or abusive traffic.

6. Communications, recordings, and consent

You control the recipients, content, timing, purpose, and configuration of communications sent for your business. Before using automated or AI-assisted outbound calls, SMS, or email, you must obtain and retain every consent required by law, honor opt-outs and do-not-call requests, maintain accurate records, and use the service only for lawful business purposes. A contact appearing in an address book does not by itself establish consent.

Call-recording and transcription laws vary by location. You are responsible for enabling recording only when lawful and for providing any announcement or consent required for each participant. Ansera provides configuration and disclosure tools but does not determine the law that applies to your call.

7. SMS and messaging terms

Message frequency varies by conversation and configured automation. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. You must not bypass carrier registration, sender-verification, quiet-hour, opt-in, or opt-out requirements. Carrier acceptance, filtering, delivery, caller-name display, and spam labeling are not guaranteed.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Ansera to:

  • break the law, deceive, harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, or defraud;
  • send spam, purchased-list campaigns, unlawful telemarketing, or communications without required consent;
  • interfere with carriers, networks, security controls, usage limits, or another tenant's data;
  • collect sensitive information that is unnecessary for the stated business purpose;
  • upload malicious code or use the service to test, scan, overload, or reverse engineer protected systems;
  • resell or provide Ansera as a communications service without written authorization; or
  • use cloned or generated voices without the speaker's express authority.

9. Voice cloning and generated speech

You may submit only your own voice or a voice you are expressly authorized to clone and use. You must not create a misleading identity, impersonate a public official or private person, conceal the nature of an automated interaction where disclosure is required, or use generated speech for fraud or manipulation. We may remove a private voice or suspend voice features when consent, ownership, safety, or legality is disputed.

10. Business content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of business information, recordings, prompts, and materials you submit. You grant Ansera and its processors a limited right to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as allowed by the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide the content. Ansera's software, brand, documentation, and service design remain owned by Lumatra Technology and its licensors.

11. Third-party services

Ansera integrates with providers such as Twilio, Stripe, Supabase, OpenAI, Deepgram, Cartesia, Google, Railway, and Sentry. Their availability and processing may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for a third party's independent service outage, policy decision, carrier filtering, or account action, but we will use reasonable efforts to operate and support the Ansera service.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Ansera or cancel your subscription at any time. We may restrict or suspend service to protect users, carriers, providers, the public, or Ansera; respond to suspected fraud or unlawful traffic; address nonpayment; or enforce these Terms. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. You may permanently delete your account in the app or use the web deletion request.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ansera is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, perfect transcription or translation, guaranteed lead results, message delivery, carrier approval, removal of spam labels, or error-free AI output. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Ansera's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Ansera during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Lumatra Technology and its personnel against third-party claims arising from your unlawful communications, lack of required consent, business content, voice use, or material breach of these Terms. We will promptly notify you of a covered claim and reasonably cooperate in the defense.

16. Applicable law and disputes

Applicable law, mandatory consumer protections, and the courts with jurisdiction over the parties govern disputes. Before filing a formal claim, each party agrees to send written notice and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days. A market-specific governing-law, venue, or arbitration provision may be presented at checkout or in an addendum accepted by your business.

17. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product, providers, or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account email before they take effect when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. Questions may be sent to support@lumatra.io.
